VISION and VALUES

Elevate People, individually and as a church, carry the vision and values of the House. Our values

are the behaviors supporting how we lead and serve. These values support that vision. We have

adopted these into our personal lives as well as in the culture of the church. We believe that all we do

and say is filtered through the lens of our vision and values as Elevate People. These values should

be something that you are greatly familiar with and can speak from at any given moment.

Jesus: Is our Message 

Our purpose at Elevate is to introduce the Hope of Jesus to everyone we know. God’s presence is the

heartbeat behind all we do - without it we are nothing; within it we find everything needed for life.

 

People: Are our Heart

We love EVERYONE. You don’t have to believe to belong. We are committed to experiencing

life as a diverse community. Our differences individually complete us as a family. 

 

Freedom: Is our Spirit

It doesn’t matter where you’ve been or where you’ve come from, we all need freedom. Walking

in a spirit of freedom gives us the strength and authority to win Sunday to Sunday.

 

Excellence: Is our Lifestyle

God is worthy of our excellence. Giving our best at all times in everything we do brings

joy to God’s heart and glory to His name.

 

Passion: Is our Response 

Everything we do, we do it with passion. From our worship to our service, we do it with Holy Spirit

energy. Passion drives us to prayer. Passion for Jesus. Passion for people. Passion for His church. 

 

Generosity: Is our Heartbeat

We see generosity as a privilege. We're generous with our time, talents and treasure.

We go first in our giving. It's our honor to give back to God.

 

Honor: Is our Foundation

We are vocal with our honor, meaning we are not stingy with our words. We submit to leadership

and are thankful for spiritual authority. We choose joyfully to submit to those God has placed over us.

We honor and care for those God has placed under us.

 

Serving: Is our Mission

If serving is beneath you, leadership is beyond you. We believe the greatest leadership is

service unto others. Every leader is a servant first. From the parking lot to the pulpit, everyone serves.

Every role is different but they are all equally important. Serving others is a God-given desire allowing

us to experience the fullness of giving ourselves to a cause greater than us.
